Bagel Gourmet - ABSECON

The food was ok, but the girl behind the counter was very rude. She tried to give me an everything bagel already toasted.

This place uses to be good... ever since it's been under new management.. its going down here... they messed up my order more than twice.. and the food don't taste the same.. charged me for something I didn't get. won't be returning

I have been coming here every summer. Always the best bagels in town and I'm a tough customer when I comes to bagels. Growing up Jewish in philly visiting NY and Miami we always had Sunday Bagels and Lox. Well the last 2 days the bagels and service have been horrible. Today the bagels tasted like I had put a frozen one in a microwave RUBBER. I bought 4 and all were toasted. No scallion creme cheese. Not that hard to run to Shop Rite and grab some scallions . Read some negative reviews about rude/bad service. Saw a sign that said ?new management?, which may explain that- I had great service and the cashier and cook on staff were both very friendly.

My husband and I tried to go to this bagel place and were told they were closing at 1130 when the signs all said 1 even a chalkboard sign outside. We complied and then watched other people walk in and not get turned away 2 minutes later. I am very disappointed that a place would turn people away especially when we saw plenty of bagels in the store.
