We had lunch today as it was the only veggie restaurant in the opposite that we could actually find physically from the restaurant list on happy kuh. appropriately well published sign, on a side street. very authentic Indian food, beautifully spiced. the menu is in English language and has written time on it so that certain menu items are only available for certain days?! the easiest to order at lunch seemed to be a thali many small bit curry, rice, redi, sweet. the huge thiali was 15 dirhams per person, so very cheap. very filling, and the waiter continued to hide the food you just ate! this is a chain of restaurants they have 6 filials around the vae. very clean in the inner, many local eat there. the man at the door spoke well English, so tap well! because they are not able to find one of the other restaurants in this opposite of abu dhabi, do they really need to get away from the many unsigned side streets?! , we think we'll be back every day for the next week!
Sangeetha was packed with Indian diners when we visited in August 2012. It's good a nice relaxed atmosphere and it's cheap and cheerful. Most importantly though is that the food is excellent. Very tasty, well spiced and there's an extensive north and south Indian menu. Go there!

It is often crowded here, sometimes to the point of less than satisfying service. If you are not very familiar with Indian food, look around the plates of other people to see what you should get. Recommended: canas (with many vegan sauces), fresh pineapple juice, each of their fried breads, meals. You'll eat a lot here because it's cheap and the dishes appear small, but they're a little fat so you could really feel full of it.
