Eskaleh Eco Lodge - Abu Simbel

I had the pleasure to choose this nubian ecolodge for my 2 nights in abu simbel. I loved the cozy warm atmosphere of lodge and every small detail of earthy colors and natural material were used everywhere. I can call a place with an authentic touch. my room was clean, spacious and comfortable. service was excellent, personal and peculiarities are very friendly and helpful .. the location of lodge is super, as it is with view of the sea with so relaxing view .. abu simbel tempel is just 20 minutes to foot from the lodge. Don't miss the light soundshow. if they drive to abu simbel, so I recommend to stay and enjoy the atmosphere... I thank them that I would definitely go back:

A breathtaking place to stay in abu simbel. the rooms are made of muddy bricks and are cool and very comfortable. I spent 3 days here and would go back in a heartbeat.

This was my second visit and it was even better than the first visit. People may ask what there is to do for a longer and repeat stay here. As well as revisiting Abu Simbel temple which we had almost to ourselves, I came to retreat from a busy life and explore the Nubian culture. And for me there is no better place. It is beautiful. It is peaceful. The food is simple and healthy. The people are wonderful. And a walk through the local is town is interesting and hassle-free. The most magical last evening we took a boat on Lake Nasser and listened to Nubian music. If you want some quiet time to relax, there is no better place. But if you maybe like painting or drawing, the landscape here is superb. It is also incredibly easy to get here from Cairo airport. Coming from London you can leave Heathrow in the afternoon and wake up surrounded by desert and birdsong. Magical.
