Contribuisci feedbackThat's the first time we didn't love the place. the service was a little out. if they pay over $50 a plate and after blue cheese and mushroom on the side no sweet all kartoffels. nope didn't happen. this evening is the special ripening. 1/2 our table said they smell wonderful that we get this. server came back to take our order. she had problems to deny the data in her ipad. had to go and come back. this time she sadly said that the special is not available. we have to come back to rethink what we want to order. I was embarrassed. it was my birthday. not according to normal standards.
The food was excellent, and our server, Gigi, was fantastic. If you’re looking for entertainment and a lively atmosphere, the lounge is the place to be; otherwise, it might be better to find a quieter spot. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!
I'm sorry to say that I can't recommend this restaurant. We used to visit frequently when it was under the original management. The salad was quite good, but the chicken piccata was disappointing—tough chicken, hard green beans, and overcooked potatoes. Additionally, the wine list was lacking. This place used to be the best restaurant in the area, especially given its historic setting. I sincerely hope they work on improving the quality of the food. On a positive note, the service was very good.
We have been visiting the Vincent Hill Station for years and travel 150 miles round trip to spend time with our friends there. We always enjoy a great time and delicious meals.
It was just not as good as usual.
