The Whistle Stop Diner To Go - Acton

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the owners are lovely, but unfortunately the waitstaff is some of the worst I have ever encountered. When we visited, we felt like we were bothering the waiters and their attitudes made us feel unwelcome. Both the female and male servers were so anxious that we considered leaving before we even placed our order. It was clear that providing a good customer experience was not a priority for them. If it weren't for Kevin, Bo, and Jin, we would not consider returning.

My wife and I enjoyed another delicious meal at the restaurant over the weekend. The Philly cheese steak on ciabatta was as tasty as always, and my wife's BLT also looked great. The ingredients are always fresh here! The service, especially when Kelly is working, is top-notch. It's amazing how she manages to keep the place immaculate, serve everyone with a smile, and handle the ice cream milkshake machine all by herself. The food is great, but it's the excellent service that keeps us coming back. Thank you, Kelly!

If I could rate this restaurant without stars, I would do so for one reason only - the incredibly rude waitress working there. From the moment we arrived, she was unresponsive and dismissive, not even acknowledging our thanks on multiple occasions. When it came time to pay and we approached her politely, she responded with a terrible attitude and rushed us to leave. This one individual completely ruined our dining experience and likely did the same for others. I highly recommend management address this issue as soon as possible, as this woman is the most unpleasant person I have ever encountered. Extremely disappointing.

Went this morning with my husband. The restaurant was busy but we got seated right away, the staff were kind and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

If you're ever passing through Acton, do yourself a favour and stop in here. Excellent food, with very fresh ingredients, and the staff are very kind and polite. The pemeal breakfast sandwich I had was excellent
