We came here twice during our brief stay in Addis, once for lunch and once for dinner. There were 16 of us and perhaps I was just unlucky because both times my meal selection was forgotten by the waitress! But that aside, I can say the the food was pretty much worth the wait. A nice selection on the menu of traditional Ethiopian food, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pasta and meat dishes, there was something to please all our palates. And the serving sizes are plentiful. The place was full of affluent young locals and had a buzz about the place.
Healthy food served without palm oil. There are child-friendly options for breakfast, lunch dinner and snacks. It's a great place for business meetings too. I love their salads, and the appetizer sauce that is served is addictive! You are welcomed with a smile at the door. There is ample parking space and a ramp to walk up if you have a disability. Well done Blen (the owner) and team!
Stayed at a nearby hotel for 2 weeks and ate here 3-4 times over that period. The breakfast was great, had the firfir, the waffles and the pancakes. Also had the pizza for lunch. The only miss was the wings as they had a bit too much sauce. But everything else was very delicious. And the staff were always friendly. Also has WiFi!
Eat here regularly as it is near my office. Look the food isn't gourmet, but it doesn't pretend to be. This is a family restaurant where you will see mum, dad and four kids sharing pizza and pasta, giggling groups of teenagers sharing the large pieces of cake and business colleagues lunching [slightly more] private quieter back corner, though the restaurant is too loud and busy to have any kind of real meeting. Everything comes in hearty serving sizes and service is generally quick and efficient. Some of their menu is available for delivery via Deliver Addis. There is parking at the front but it is often full, so better to take a cab. Note not a street that you should walk down alone at night, it is not a main road nor well lit.
