The table are presented with cross runner table cloth, quality cutlery, wine glass and linen serviettes As the evenings in January can be cooler, calor heaters are positioned after the first row of tables. We were lured in by the special offer board. Fillet steak, plus all the trimmings, with a bottle of wine. First visit. Fantastic steak cooked to perfection [med/rare] the offered red wine changed for a Riocca Rosse, which was quite light on the pallet, and served on extreamly hot plates, a must requirement for a chef. Second visit, the steaks were not Cooked quite so well and the plates were not hot. The cutlery was a slight problem as the design is great for laying up the table but insists on turning side on when attempting to cut anything. Both meals were reasonable value
Friendly staff, lovely food. We had the mixed tapas for 2. Really tasty plentiful. Great place to watch the sunset with a jug of sangria.
Went here with wife and opted for set menu tapas, €20 for six. Waitress said they were small plates, but we didn't mind as we weren't that hungry. Of six dishes, four were ok, calamari was oily and soggy, meatballs were quite frankly rank (terrible); tasted like mass produced processed meat and sauce was poor. I imagine this set menu uses cheap, frozen food, as the other dishes coming to tables looked quite good. Service was good from busy waitresses. On a final note, there was a table with obnoxious guests present, who clearly had too much alcohol onboard, that spoilt the ambiance not just for us, but other guests also. Should really have been told to query quieten down. Won't be returning!
Had a selection of tapas to share. Meatballs definitely out if a can. I would do better myself. Service very quick and staff friendly.
We stopped here a couple of times for drinks( beer €1/pint).today we had a lovely lunch. Canarian potatoes and a chicken caesar salad both of which were most enjoyable. Right on the front so good for the view and people watching. 2 pints half litre of sangria plus the food all for €16 Very reasonable. Would recommend
