Falafel - Aeghiali

We went there twice during our short stay in Amorgos and each time it was an excellent dinner! The dishes are elaborate, well presented, original, well seasoned and lots of vegetarian choices, but not only that! And the service is very attentive. I recommend it during your visit to the island! Falafel is located in a picturesque corner of the harbour aegiali with many cute seating on the terrace and on the road. the personal is very informed about veganism and immediately asked us if we had eaten meat. the menu is quite extensive, varied and everything seems to be served throughout the day, but go in september some items were not available. the atmosphere was relaxed and the decor was cool and sympathetic. we ordered the Falafel plate (7.50 and the Thai spring rolls (5 between two of us). the falafel platter comes with 6 pieces, a lot flatbread, a simple crispy salate and hummus. Although the early rolls contain only 4 pieces (the slightly expensive for 5 they are packed with sweet and tofu and served with 2 delicious dipping sauce. the employees were also very helpful and sorted us with a takeaway as we were in a hurry. I would highly recommend falafel if they need a healthy snack, something different than traditional Greek cuisine on amorgos. regardless of personal taste, nutritional requirements or daytime, they find something they fulfill in falafel!
