The course (BvM) was very interesting and sometimes adventurous. However, only recommended with a golf cart, as it is very hilly and the path from hole to hole is sometimes a bit longer. The old town of Hameln afterwards was also really worth seeing and had a great night of partying in store for us. Top!
A beautiful and challenging place. Magnificent view. The visit was completely worth it!
I don't want to give an objective assessment. Due to the weather, we only played holes 1-6, 16, 17 and 18. The last holes were dry, the rest was just a mud fight.
So for the beginning of May, the place wasn't in good condition! The grass was way too high everywhere! This made finding the ball almost impossible! Also because of the million daisies! Many greens were just bumpy and some were 5cm long when cut! The paths, stairs, etc. were also in a rotten state! All in all, the tracks up in the forest just weren't well maintained! If these have not really been “finished” yet, you are not allowed to take the full green fee price! Many other places don't do that either! Anyone who has played in Bad Münder or Mardorf will notice a huge difference! Even the paths there are well maintained and the cable cars are ALWAYS great!
Baron of lies Munchausen. We, seven men, wanted to play at the golf club and stay at the Hotel Schloss in the first week of May. Although the hotel is nice, the hotel's communication with the golf club and the condition of the golf courses are a disaster. As a result, we gave up playing golf there and switched to golf courses on the Steinhuder Meer. Neither the hotel nor the club were of any help. So you better not want to play there!!!
