Nevertheless we had a very pleasant evening and, to repeat, eating was exceptional.
We travelled canal garonne and stopped on Monday in the beautiful harbour of agen for an overnight stay. many restaurants near Mondays, so we recommend the harbor master for one. he has recommended l’atelier enthusiastically. we really had no idea how happy. we were in this extraordinary restaurant to eat. we came a little early before they opened, but they served us a very nice bottle of rose while we waited on the terrace. the menu and the fresh choice of the jour were very nice. the ladies chose the white fish special raved over how perfect the fish was prepared and the presentation. the young shared a beef tenderloin for two that absolutely perfect with taste over comparison. the beard sauce was the best I ever tasted. the cook visited our table to make sure we were satisfied. that is an extraordinary restaurant. do not miss the food in l’atelier when they are in agen.
