If you come to see the cave of Zeus on the Lassithi plateau, then you can come and eat at the dias tavern. Nike, the owner, will make you taste a local dish, in a warm atmosphere. The products are fresh and excellent. No hesitation, you can go there with your eyes closed and your heart open.

Very traditional, fantastic Greek hospitality. Very sweet old lady, nothing too much trouble. Only stayed for greek coffee but still served in the traditional way with a glass of water, and even a little pastry in the side. So friendly and reflects the true spirit of Crete.
