Second time visiting. Again, fantastic food! This time it was to go. Got home and was surprised how much food we got. Don't EVER go without ordering the garlic Nan. Oh my gosh!
My wife and kids love this place. They took me today and I was absolutely blown away. Everything was superb. The garlic Naan was 100/100. The Chicken Tikka appetizer was incredible. The Chicken in the butter-based sauce with rice on the side was another amazing dish. The server was the kindest, most respectful gentleman. Very attentive. But the food is the star. Absolutely delicious. Will be back again many, many times. huge new fan.
Server: Abu First time coming here, was recommended by a regular customer. Lovely food and nice waiter. The waiter recommended to mix all the sauces for chicken samosa, it was sooo good!! I recommend all dishes. Will be back again! Items: chicken tikka masala, rice, garlic naan, and chicken samosa
We came here at lunchtime on a wet Saturday so it was very quiet. Never been here before, but although it's less conveniently located compared with other Indian restaurants for us, we will absolutely be back. The food is superb. You can tell they're making it properly because, for instance, the chicken Tikka is infused with the spices; you can see when you cut into it. The plain Naan was just perfect. Fried rice cooked to perfection with good flavor and very generous size. Lamb Tikka appetizer was delicious and tender. Lamb korma is also very tender and flavorful. Aloo Gobi was also lovely, and they were happy to give me more cauliflower and less potato as i eat a keto diet and don't eat many carb, so the cauliflower served as my rice. Portions are generous, and there's easily enough left over for another full meal for two and then some. Highly recommend Lal Mirch if you're a Brit searching for a decent Indian meal! Most people have no idea that the most popular Indian dishes actually originated in the UK after they were adapted in the 20th century to the British palate. In particular, chicken Tikka masala is thought to be the invention of British Indian chefs.
