I'll be honest we had been wanting to try this place for a bit but we always seemed to go when they were closed but we finally tried it and it wasn't bad food but my jaw about hit the floor when we heard the amount of our bill, there were 4 of us that ate, 3 of us just got cheeseburger fries and one got a breakfast burrito. We got 4 pop's the total was $85.00. I couldn't believe it! I totally understand the price of everything going up but when we go eat out it has never cost that much for us! It usually runs about $50 $60. Plus the portion of food wasn't what I thought it should've been for that price!!! Not sure if we'll be going back here that's a bummer because we were really looking forward to finding a new spot to eat on our family nights out!!
This mom and pop cafe is a gem! If you are traveling through, stop in and don’t waste your time in Trinidad. Food was excellent, friendly staff and clean bathroom. I had chili cheese fries which were fresh cut fries with homemade green chili on top. Husband had pulled pork avocado burrito and it was smothered with green chili. Will stop again if we are traveling this route again.
Traveling to Denver on I-25 and found this diamond in the rough. The exterior appearance is deceptive as we walked into a welcoming crew and a great lunch. Clean restaurant and friendly service. Had the pulled pork sandwich and Cheeseburger with fries. Owner seemed engaged of improving the business with allowing EV charging at the campground. Didn’t have the breakfast but served all day and I am sure it is as good as the lunch. Will stop again in the future.
Surprisingly good food and nice atmosphere. Don't let the otdoor appearance discourage you.
