I almost thought that I had wrongly stepped into a French restaurant serving some nouvelle cuisine that would take 5 hours to eat. Despite the slowness, a confounding mess! The orders of food are arriving in a hotchpotch of starter, appetiser, and mains with an unbearable interlude. Excellent presentation, but the taste is unfortunately apathetic. Beneath the lush alluring-looking prawn dumpling is a disaster, the skin is way too thick, and it does not feel artisan. Siewmai alike, with the meat tasted a bit soury. Noodles, fried rice, and the rest of the dish are way too salty and missing the critical umami of Chinese food, the wok hei. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
