We chose this charming restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a lunch, replacing a week in Lisbon that could not take place because of the health crisis. Far from regretting not to find us in Portugal, we spent a moment of the most pleasant and festive. The place is, of course, totally superb, overlooking the Creuse with a view of the splendid Busseau viaduct. Inside, we are in small care, with a service that is at the same time perfectly correct and very personal, casual and warm. The dishes are superb, made for the most part from local ingredients of excellent quality, with sometimes bold but always very successful combinations (e.g., marinated salmon gravlax with pomegranate spread and kiwi vinaigrette in tabasco, accompanied by a delicious sorbet with the green lemon). Throughout the menu, the taste and flavor are at the rendezvous and we ate everything until the last crust, even if the dessert was much more copied than expected. It is a tribute to a chef who, in the respect of his products, first seeks the pleasure of his customers - and it is in the thousand on the whole line! As a bonus, pleasant jazz music background. No wonder we are looking forward to returning there, and we advise you to do all the difficult things!
