Went here specifically for the manapua, a fancy bread wrapped pork. It was quite good, especially with the mustard sauce. It’s in a shopping mall with easy parking. Can’t speak to the other food as I didn’t try it.
$12 tea cookies.....?. My fault for not asking how much a bag was but I guess 12 for $12 isn't bad. There were no prices listed and I should've asked before actually asking the cashier for a box of four bags. But I think I'll get my tea cookies from china town where it's $5.50 for a dozen, from now on.
I visited this restaurant twice - first to grab a thank you snack for some employees at a treatment center, and then again because I could smell the delicious food in my car and wanted to get something for my family. Unfortunately, they were out of the hotdogs and manapua on my second visit, and did not have any rice cakes ready. However, they still had other options to choose from, so I wasn't completely disappointed. Just have to make sure I know what I want before they run out next time!
I recently spent $55 at this restaurant and was charged extra for hot water. This was frustrating as the staff was limited and there was a long line out the door. I understand that businesses are struggling to recover after the pandemic, but it was still disappointing.
