Sorry but we tried the pasteles, pastele stew and gandule rice and it was the worst we have ever tasted. The stew taste like chili, rice was sour just like the pasteles. It was at the Blaisdel…needless to say we paid $38 for 2 plates. And yes am 100% Puertoriqueño….my advice, find a real Puerto Rican recipe in Google and follow it….won’t go wrong unless you deviate from it…
First met them at the Kroc Center during a Halloween themed food truck event they had going on. And then again during a HiFinest Concert. At the Kroc we got a pastele plate, it was super delicious, the rice wasn't hard and there was a lot of flavor. I told the owner about my love of burritos, and she told me the next time i see her at the concert she'd make one for me! She remembered a month later and the burrito was MASSIVE ! It was one of the best burritos i've had. You also have to try their Cookie Butter Mochi ! One of the tastiest mochi I have tried.
I ate from the food truck n so Atmosphere isn 't really fair. Food was delicious (I had Pastele and Pastele stew)
