La Guingette - Aigues-Mortes

Discovered randomly, in an adjacent road. super cozy with red chairs and table clothing. only a few options, as in most restaurants in the Provence, but great eating. super fresh and the portion is super fast.

We stopped here because the place looked very cozy. the food was offered very quickly. but the kiss of the fish and the meat was absolutely not good! I would not return to this place.

Charming restaurant in the centre of Aigues Mortes. Offering fresh, local food, but innovative, if small menu. All courses were excellent and the menu was accompanied by a good wine list including a number of local wines. Service could not be faulted. Definately the best...meal we had in Aigues Mortes.

All the dishes were very tasty. only flat : there is a lack of support during the "sardines in love" course at 18 euro (riz or potatoes with vegetables for example.) the server was very friendly, it was only to serve all tables outside (5-6 tables that night).

Peaceful setting away from the centre. fresh food, small menu, well cooked. efficient and fast service, but I didn't feel in a hurry. eggplant and sardines stuffed in a delicious light paste, just like local organic rosé wine.
