Huddle House - Aiken County

Before this visit I hadn't eaten at a huddle House in 20 years. They have definitely improved. I would take huddle House over waffle House any day!

I didn't even stay to eat here. As soon as we walked in we were not greeted with a hello but a dirty look. We were not even acknowledged by any of the staff. The patrons were more friendly than the staff. I wish I could have left a good review but will not return here. We are at another Huddle House and man what a difference. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the staff right away.

The service by the waitress was great. She is very good at her job. We went on Sunday morning and she was the only waitress and she stayed on top of her tables to make sure they were all happy. That being said, the lady washing dishes was not very nice. Also, the cook undercooked the steak. I asked for medium rare and when i originally got the steak it was just seared on both sides but not cooked at all. I sent it back, and when I recieved it again, it was barely cooked more than the first time.

This place is great place for breakfast lunch or dinner. Food was cooked perfectly and the service was great...

I mean it's Huddle House so your expectations have to be set for a Huddle House experience but that's what we wanted and it was good. My eggs were a bit under done with the whites not fully cooked... I always order over medium to try and avoid this but it still happens frequently at a variety of breakfast places so I guess I need to go scrambled in the future....
