When I went to order inside there was coke or something all over the carpet. My shoes stuck to the carpet. I told them about the didn’t care and didn’t want to be bothered. I got a hotdog and they changed for the chili and slaw extra. When I got it, it didn’t have a pinch of slaw on it. Again they didn’t want to be bothered. Whet to sit down and tables were not clean. I went to get some salt for the fries and again they didn’t want to be bothered. We will not go back or recommend any one else to go and eat there!!
Always love Cookout!! Double burger corn dog and fries, how could you go wrong?? I always know what to expect at this restaurant.I will say that the price of the double tray seems to be more expensive every time I visit. Also, the cheerwine (one of my favorite parts of the experience) was spitting out mostly water.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking and seating.
Went through line. I ordered 1 corn dog, small fry, small lemonade for my toddler, a chicken sandwich and a small coke.I got a large fry, large drinks, large onion rings, and no corn dog.Went back through line to get the corn dog I ordered but waited for 5+ mins at the line when there were no cars.I don’t think they actually listen to what customers ask for sometimes. It was painful. And this chicken sandwich is terrible. What a the point of asking what you want on it if you don’t apply those requests. The lettuce looks like it’s been under a heat lamp for 2 hours and the chicken is rubbery. So disappointed I wasted $16 on this garbage. The only positive thing I have ever had from here is a milk shakes at least they have that going for them.
I love a char-grilled hamburger, but I doubt that their regular burger patty is 4 oz. It looks and feels significantly smaller than a Quarter Pounder, as tasty as it is. It's more akin to one of the skimpy beef patties you would find on a Big Mac. Too much bun for so little meat.Their onion rings are unremarkable, similar to what you might find in your grocer's freezer. Get the fries, instead. Hushpuppies? Bland. The corn dogs are a satisfying childhood memory option.Cookout's menu is downright gluttonous and visually difficult to decipher on the fly at the counter or drive-thru. If you go to their website, you'll find no prices, which is not a deal-breaker by any means – it's inexpensive.Compared to the national quick-serve chain restaurants, Cookout is a good bang for the buck for those who value quantity. The drive-thru employee barely uttered a word throughout the entire transaction. They didn't even ask if we wanted ketchup for the pile of fried food we ordered, and we didn't have to presence of mind to request condiments, so we had to drive around to park while one of us went back into the restaurant.Looking at the receipt, I now see that we were probably charged for water that we didn't order.A note to Corporate: Consider printing a survey URL on your receipts for feedback so that consumers don't have to take the time call you to describe their experiences.P.S. Despite my comments in the above paragraph, you'll notice that Corporate copied and pasted the very same reply that they use for every single less-than-stellar review, inviting me to call them.
