Evidently Sundays are very busy for this BBQ buffet. We arrived at 7:00 PM and we're informed by the cashier that several of the BBQ items were not available. Also, many of the vegetables tasted as though the had simply been boiled in a pot without any seasoning. The fried chicken was very tough and the pulled pork was dry and tough. The folks I went with told me that the food is generally much better. Another issue I have at some eating establishments, as here, is that the customer is expected to clear their table. Sorry, I don't work at your restaurant.
I have to admit that this restaurant definitely has a skilled professional chef who is considered the best by their customers. I came across many positive reviews about Mrs. Rebecca Wayne and decided to have her manage my account after investing $1000. In just a few days, I received a successful return of $10,200. It seemed too good to be true, but Mrs. Rebecca Wayne made it happen with her hard work and expertise.
Most of the time it is great! No complaints. Then every once in awhile it leaves something to be desired. Like someone else is doing to cooking. Lol! Though, it never discourages me from going back even if I get extremely oily squash casserole with the cheese curdled, tasteless oily brown gravy on my mash, and really dry ribs once every 3 months or so.
Duke is a family-friendly restaurant that I highly recommend. They offer large portions of both vegetables and meat. In my opinion, they have the best fried chicken in town. Duke is our go-to spot for dinner.
