Amazing time at The Kitchen Palace! Played pool, drank beer, and chatted with Chef Robin who is so nice. We had the bacon cheese burger all the way and the hood rich combo- both delicious and seasoned to perfection. Pool is $1 in quarters per game and they also have 47 flavors of wings (pictured). Domestic beers are about $2.50-$3.25.
Let me start my review with yesterday?s experience. Chef owner Robin fed her customers for free. Who does that? We got food to go and my son was non-stop going on about the fried chicken. I?m not particularly a fan of poultry- let alone fried chicken. But I tried it and fell in love. Today is Thanksgiving but my frontline working family isn?t here so I saw Robin was open. I?d been thinking about the chicken all day and so it seemed fitting to order from the Kitchen Palace.
Been twice. First time had some wings. We're cooked properly came with a wet sauce as flavor. Second time had fried chicken (was wonderful), fried pork chop(freshly made) and lemon pepper chicken on a bed of rice. Pretty extensive menu so bound to find something for everyone. Had sides of sweet potatoes, turnip greens, cabbage, buttered corn and peas with carrots. All were lightly seasoned, good flavor and hot Came with homemade cornbread. Could tell it was fresh and
Someone in the reviews stated the service was slow, my opinion is if you want it quicker, maybe you should have chosen fast food. This place was excellent, food fresh and made to order, seasoned very well. The staff was a prime example of southern charm. The atmosphere was friendly. Price was great too! Will definitely eat here, anytime I'm in the area again.
