The Stables Rose Hill - Aiken

The live entertainment was fantastic! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was delicious!

We arrived early to eat before the band started playing. I can imagine it could get quite loud later on. Our server was attentive and delightful. The food was among the best we’ve had since our move.

Three of us went for Sunday brunch, and we had a fantastic experience.

Food was over priced, there was no ac/ air movement so the place felt stuffy. Did not know how to make a simple cocktail. Music was too loud. In general I will not be going back to this location. I would have rather have spent my money at prime steak house or longhorn.

We visited Aiken for a friend’s baby shower. We stayed at the Rose Hill, which had excellent accommodations. A short walk through the courtyard there took us to the Stables restaurant. We spent dinner enjoying live beach music, delicious drinks, and a diverse menu. Other guests enjoyed dancing during the evening. I love the braised short ribs, but the chicken was especially well prepared. At the conclusion of our meal, we had an opportunity to discuss the confit preparation with the chef, which paired well with the house Cabernet. It was an amazing evening at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone spending time in Aiken.
