Refuge De La Coire - Aime-la-Plagne

Beautiful shelter accessible on foot or by car. Great calm and observation of the marmots in the distance in the mountain. Very good kitchen also with a large reception.

A refuge on the Beaufortain Tower. A warm welcome; two spartan dormitories, but this is the rule of the game; Good and generous food. Electricity is rare, also often; abundant water, which is very pleasant. I'm sorry there's only a shower, a little lean.

Bivouac downstream of the very pleasant refuge. good meals and friendly staff.

Back to sources! small authentic refuge in the heart of Beaufortain. no electricity because of the drought when we were there (water retention was empty) but the reception was very hot and the excellent meal! The desserts are homemade and yoghurts come from the farm below. A pleasure. We did not sleep in the dorm but in a 4-bed annex very comfortable.
