Godfather's Pizza Express - Ainsworth

We are driving on 218 and we are hungry.. we reluctantly stopped here due to the ratings. BUT.. they are old reviews and the complaints are about service...SO.. hubby and I stopped.. it is a truck stop with a small town feel.. our service was good.. food was delicious.. we ate breakfast.. it was hot!Hubby had wanted soup and the kitchen had none.. it is 30 degrees outside the wind a blowing.. it is soup weather..Any hoo if you are in the area don't be scared away by the reviews.. or the fact they don't always serve soup.

This outlet is located in the FOCO restaurant. We walked in at 1:32 p.m. today wanting to order Godfather 's pizza to dine in. The server informed us that they closed at 2 and that since the pizza took a half hour to prepare, we would have to get it to go, we could not eat it there. She didn 't even ask us if we needed anything to drink while we were waiting.At 1:45 a party of 5 walked in, and she told them they closed at 2. They inquired if they could get something to eat, and she said It depends on what you order . They decided to sit and I heard one of them order a grilled pork loin.So, I 'm curious- does it only take a couple of minutes to prepare a grilled loin? Were they going to have to leave at 2 whether they were finished or not?I love the pizza but I will NOT be going back here for awhile. This is the second time we have been here in a month and the service has been rude.

Not sure why they have a restaurant if stopped here twice within few days and they always closed ?

I wouldn’t stop here for another year. The service is not just slow it’s bad. Two waitresses spent more time puttering around and not cleaning tables or handing out menus. No drinks nothing just ignored.The restaurant is really nice and very cool decoration. It seemed clean and is located in a good spot. It’s on highway 27 between Columbus City and Washington.
