Usually a very good place to dine, not so on a recent night out. Decided to have the chef's special, honey lemon chicken with rice and broccoli. Sounds nice right, 4 pieces of chicken, small serving of rice and 2 stalks of broccolini. Sorry chef, but did you taste the dish at all. Tried my best to eat but couldn't, way to sweet. The chicken was swimming in the sauce. Partner ordered porterhouse steak,advertised as "melt in the mouth". He regularly eats this cut of meat,and once again, sorry definitely did not meet expectation.

They have a great kids menu, plaground and value for money. The steaks are tender. We had Ribs and steak two nights in a row and the ribs melt of the bone. The kids loved the cheesy pasta. Service was good. Relaxing atmosphere.

I had people travel from Rocky Brisbane Cairns and Bali to help celebrate my birthday! This Manager knew wks in advance that about 30 to 40 people would be at this celebration! 11 of my Guests including myself went without Dinner because at 10 pm it still was not served!!!!! 6^others cancelled their meal SICK of WAITING! 3 of the 6 children there were in tears they were so HUNGRY, we complained 3 times still took 40 mts in que to be served then another 45MTS to be told they had run out of what the children had ordered!!!! Another 37 mts before children were served COLD Pizza n COLD CHIPS!!!! Another 5 Guests could not eat their meal it was so hoirrible. My 85 yr old Mother waited almost 2 hrs for her Meal of Fish Full of Bones with an Ugly Grey Skin left on it and RAW VEGES that you could not eat even if you had a set of Steel False Teeth! I would NOT RECOMMEND this Venue to Anyone the whole night for this special occasion was RUINED! To Finish we were by FAR NOT the only patrons that night to Go Hungry or Return Meals!

Stood for half an hour in line to order food and waited nearly an hour for food after that. Not enough staff even though it was Mother's Day and they knew how many people to expect as we had to book. Line up for drinks at the bar too. Food was okay but salads were drowned in dressing.

My wife and I had dinner at the Vale Hotel, the meal was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. I would like to make special mention to Donna and Chey, they were absolutely fantastic. Many thanks for the beautiful desert.
