Les Macarons de Caroline

If you like macarons then go here! They are simply delicious and offer some unusual flavors which are worth trying. The vanilla, fraise, and cafe were our favorites.

I stopped in while my family was eating lunch to get a little treat and what a treat it was! These were not your average macaron. Available flavors were not the standard ones and many had a little filling inside to give it a bit more complexity. My favorites were the vanilla and the caramel. Staff was helpful, explaining flavors, how to store them (in the fridge, unlike many others) and the best way to buy them. If I am lucky enough to come back to this part of France I will make it a point to visit. So happy to have found it!

My wife LOVES French macaroons and these are by far her favorite in France and the United States! Every day we were in Aix-En-Provence we went here and she got pretty much all of them. She loves these because they were fresh, friendly staff and they have a unique fruit in the center with the ganache! She will definitely miss this place when we go back home.

You can not say to have eaten a macaron if you had not one at Caroline’s. Very cute place, she is nice and helpful to give the best advice to chose the right macaron for your taste. Best macarons in Aix, no... best in France, no... best ever!
