U Tascaronu - Ajaccio

On a recent motorcycle tour of Corsica and Sardinia we stopped here for lunch. Just the fact that our guide chose this restaurant is a strong recommendation, because he knows the region well and never failed to bring us to great places to eat.I only had a salad (excellent), but several of my fellow riders ordered the plats du jour (one was lamb, one was beef) and everyone enjoyed their meal. The pizzas also got great reviews. Our waiter had minimal English, but there was a waitress who spoke quite well.If good food, friendly service, and lovely views of the countryside sounds appealing to you, consider stopping in at U Tascaronu.
