Retro Burger - Ajax

Retro Burger is exactly that, a throwback to the classic charbroiled burger joint?except the menu expand here to so much more?grabbed a bacon cheeseburger and a Philly cheesesteak poutine. The burger was again classic, charbroiled and just right. Good bacon, good cheese, love the sautéed onions and the special sauce is exactly that. Philly poutine was also a home run. Packed from top to bottom with all the goods, this was well worth it. Will return.

Service was quick, all COVID precautions were in place, parking available and limited number of customers indoor. Couldn?t take pics of the food we ordered coz we were very hungry and the it was irresistibly GOOD Shoutout to the kind staff who helped me to make these choices- did not regret that.?thank you ?

Really good burgers. This is the best location as I also tried the other Retro Burger locations. Fresh ingredients. Beef is very tasty. The restaurant is very clean. Very recommended. I've eaten five years here. Always consistent.

How did we live 3 years on Porte Road and discovered this place only today?! What a jewel! The food is absolutely delicious. We have many things to try a variety. And definitely has nothing regretted!!! I hate onion rings because I can always taste the sting oil smell anywhere else, but the onion rings were amazing here. And the Big 10 Burger was an absolute monster, so juicy, tasteful and tasty. The chicken souvlaki has this charred taste, which is an absolute pleasure. Needless to say, there are several more excursions here. We have to go back to try the fried Marsbar.

Solid food, good service. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The portions are great. You get mountains of fries and unless you're hungry you can easily share some fries. The onion rings are excellent as well. Nice thick cut rings in a batter that isn't fried too greasy. Fish and chips can be greasier but are also tasty and my kids always enjoy the chicken fingers. Sometimes we'll just get a few orders of that to share on a movie night.
