We sat outside and waited for service after initially going inside, where we found three staff members, one of whom eventually said they would take our order outside. After a long wait, someone finally came to take our order. We also had to request that the table be wiped down. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive. While it was tasty, it felt overpriced at $14 for a salmon bagel that included just a little lettuce, a thin layer of cream cheese, and perhaps 50 cents' worth of salmon. Given that price, I expected more. The poor service and attitude really detracted from the experience, and the food didn’t compensate for it.
The setting is lovely, with a pleasant outdoor dining area. We enjoyed some delicious fish and chips alongside a sandwich. Their house beer is excellent, and they even had ice for the Diet Coke. Just be careful of the sneaky birds—they're quick to snatch a bite from your plate!
One word: BEAUTIFUL! This place looks like it's straight out of a magazine, filled with gorgeous flowers that smell heavenly. To the left are elegantly set tables, and to the right, there are cozy benches to relax on. I ordered an iced coffee along with the cherry coconut dessert. My husband, who isn’t a fan of sweets, ended up devouring it all himself! They play great music and serve quality food. Make sure to visit this spot when you're in the area!
Food was excellent. They didn't have croissants which for a French restaurant was disappointing, but there was no shortage of great food! Ambiance was wonderful. We sat in the garden, highly recommend!
This place looked so nice, so we stopped for lunch. Several tables were in the front yard among the beautifully landscaped trees and flowers, and a musician was playing music. The staff were friendly but not so attentive as our meal progressed. Fresh bluff oysters were in season while we were in town, so I was excited to try some. Of the 6 bluff oysters in my order, 3 were bad. I told the waitress and she acted surprised, but did nothing more. Considering the relatively steep prices, I expected more. My husband had fish chips, which he reported as average. I gave them 2 stars because of the oyster fiasco.
