Dōu Yě Niǎo - Akita

It was our first time in Akita and this place was amazing! I was in Japan for over 20 years and had no seafood so well from this level of Izakaya. The snake selection is world class and almost all Premium Junmai Daiginjo Sake, the highly polished variety. Every court we ordered was something of the best I had. The interior is like coming to Japan in the 1950s and is really an authentic Japan experience. The employees are all old ladies who have run the place for decades, and the slow but simple setting corresponds to the feeling. This is definitely a HIDDEN gem in the true definition of words and you should have at least one night meal here.

食べ物はとても素晴らしいです。 臭気のない新鮮な魚介類に加えて、すべての料理の調味料は完璧です。 日本酒、低価格、長期滞在できる快適性など、様々な日本酒に感銘を受けました。

お店も店員も鄙びた空気を漂わせており、おじさんにはたまらない雰囲気ですね。 カウンターの席数がそこそこあるので、独り飲みにはいい雰囲気かと。 品数多くて価格もリーズナブル。 日本酒は秋田の良い酒を揃えている。 ただ一杯あたりは安いけど、小さいグラスに入っており枡にはほとんどこぼれていません。飲み比べにはちょうど良いかも。
