Big Star Pizza - Akron

Big Star is one of my favorite pizzerias in New York. The prices are reasonable, and the owners are fantastic! I make sure to stop by whenever I’m in the area, and the quality is consistently excellent. While most of the business is takeout, they do have a few tables for dining in. It’s a true gem! Everyone I’ve ever brought here or had try their pizza has loved it. The crust has that perfect crispy yet chewy texture that I really enjoy in New York-style pizza. The sauce is delicious and mild, not sour at all.

The pizza here is absolutely delicious, with a true New York style! Everything is made from scratch, and I really appreciate the owners who run the place. They’re always so friendly, and the service is quick. I would share a photo of my slices, but I ate them all already—LOL!

Without a doubt, this is the best New York-style pizza in Akron. It's absolutely delicious!

Really friendly staff, tiramisu and chocolate cake are a must. Pizza is good, but ask for extra sauce

Stopped in because it was right by Shelly asphalt plant. Got 2 huge slices and a coke for under $5. That being said expectations were low. Their pizza was absolutely amazing. I will be back for lunch anytime I'm in the area. Thanks great job!!!
