The Tea Lady - Akron

This was my third visit to The Tea Lady, and all of them have been a wonderful experience. I always take special ladies in my life to celebrate birthdays, holidays, other special occasions. And my guests are always blown away by the experience. The table service, the food, the ambience hearken back to a more elegant time. The food is quite plentiful and very delicious. I can't wait til the next encounter in the spring when I'll celebrate my best friend's birthday.

We decided to try The Tea Lady for the first time while in town to visit our mom. We were used to a tea room where you could order what you wanted to eat at reasonable prices. At The Tea Lady the menu was set and was tea, fruit, scones, sandwiches, and dessert. The only choice we had was our tea. The food was okay but not worth $44.60 per person. The Tea Lady was also very particular which didn’t make for a very relaxing experience. Overall the experience was okay but we probably won’t be returning.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter’s 13th birthday! The tea, the food, the ambiance were all lovely. The Tea Lady is something special! Can’t wait to return.

Wonderful experience for an Afternoon Tea. Quite authentic English Tea with a huge selection of teas, excellent food, and darling gift selections. Highly recommend supporting this gem of a local business!!
