Sushi Corner - Akureyri

Beautiful service and sushi was the best! extremely underestimated for the quality they deliver. the sushi was fresh. please do not avoid anything.

The lunch offer is an absolute steal. Of course it is at the cheaper end of sushi, so not with the highest expectations, but I never enjoyed the sushi there. also, cakes and other side dishes. as vegetarian it was always easy to ask only at the counter to have made something extra, and they are marked with green plates for easy finding. always on my list to do when I show up by akureyri!

Right next to the subway. very casual. lunchtime during the week they offer everything they eat buffet to very cheap trips. the dishes are mainly salmon, tuna and garnel, but occasionally chicken and chocolate cake. they also have la carte menu. there is a similar, but slightly elevated near rub23 when they are looking for ambiente.

Best sushi in town, if you can get any. The place is seriously flawed design wise. If you are placed at certain seats you will never get sushi, only frozen mozzarela sticks and other deepfried non sushi items. I used to recomend this place to people but will not do that any longer, unless unless they change the belt and how it opperates.

I wouldn't call this a sushi place since there are more Mellon or orange slices here then actually sushi and when you get a plate of sushi it looks like this
