Gamal Sholqamy - Al Jizah

This restaurant is excellent, the food is delicious and offers traditional Egyptian dishes. The menu is in Arabic only, so it's clear that it caters to locals. I recommend trying the meat selection, you won't be disappointed. Mr. Magdi, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. We followed his recommendations and left satisfied. You will be too.

This is the best restaurant in Cairo. I promise to visit Cairo again just to return to this place! The service was excellent and the ambiance was one of the most beautiful I have ever experienced. The baba ganoush here is definitely the best I have ever had. Overall, it was a 5-star experience and I highly recommend dining here.

The food at this restaurant is consistently amazing. The dishes are resistant to any possible criticisms. The seating may not be anything out of the ordinary, but you are guaranteed satisfaction with your meal. The area surrounding the restaurant may be a bit chaotic, but the helpful parking attendants make finding a spot easy.
