While driving through the area, I decided to stop for some BBQ, and I’m glad I did! The food was delicious; I ordered the pulled pork plate with sides, and I have no complaints at all.
My favorite BBQ spot in Birmingham! The meat is fantastic, and both the potato salad and marinated coleslaw are exceptional. They offer a tasty white BBQ sauce for the chicken and turkey, but I personally find their red sauce to be a bit too sweet for my liking.
We live about 35 minutes from this location. My husband will stop on occasion on his way home. Today he stopped for dinner for all of us and when he got home completely wrong order was in the bags. Called the store spoke to the manager and he said he would make correct order and have it ready when he returned. That’s great but he still has to drive 35 minutes to get there and then back home. Manager, Cortez, didn’t seem to be concerned that he had to do that. He said “they were training new people.” Well what was the excuse 2 weeks ago when this same thing happened. Yes he should have checked the bag before he pulled off since this has happened before. He didn’t, and for as much as this food cost he should not have to police his food every time. We just thought first time it was an accident. Everyone messes up from time to time but a second time? That seems like an issue. Offering free food or to correct it is great but that means we have to drive an over hour round trip to take care of that. Full Moon is TOO expensive and the wait, drive thru, is too long for this to be happening. Do better Cortez and staff at Full Moon.
Fantastic food, great service and reasonably priced.
