Steak 'n Shake - Alabaster

I had an excellent experience at this fast food restaurant! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. My waitress was amazing, and I believe the manager also checked in on me, which I appreciated. The brunch I ordered was fantastic. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at the Hostess Station. I highly recommend requesting Krystal P. as your server. She is sweet, extremely attentive, and radiates a charming Southern hospitality—truly the best server we've had on S S S S and the best we’ve encountered anywhere since moving to Alabama three years ago. My husband ordered the new 6oz. Prime Steakburger, while I tried the new White Truffle Prime Steakburger. Both burgers came with fries and were juicy, flavorful, and noticeably fresh. We also arrived in time for Happier Hour, which offers half-price shakes from 2-5 PM on weekdays. If you've been disappointed by Steak Shake in the past, I encourage you to give them another chance. We will definitely be returning and will be sure to ask for Krystal P. again!

The servers are friendly and welcoming. The food has a nostalgic quality and tastes very healthy. One of my favorite dishes is the chili foot-long hot dog paired with the coleslaw! The warm atmosphere keeps me coming back. That’s the true spirit of Santa Claus!

20. September 2018 I went to this place where I always got a good service and because I sit with one of their employees, the server called Amy took care of all the others and I am the last person she came. I brought it to her and she says we're working there, I never worked on this place, and I'll never go back here because I refuse to deal with stupid people like Amy.

Honestly it's cheap, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. Depending on when you go, it may be crowded, but the wait normally isn't too horrible if you have any patience.
