O Sole Mio - Alachua

This is a lovely Italian restaurant. We enjoyed the buffet, which offered a wide variety of dishes. The food was quite good for just $12.99. There were pizzas, salads, classic Italian favorites, and even some desserts.

Our waitress, Amanda, was incredible! The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The only downside was the bathroom; as seen in the photos, it wasn't very clean and had insulation hanging from the ceiling. The dining area also showed some water damage, but it was not as noticeable as in the bathroom.

This restaurant serves the best Italian food and pizza I've ever had. The waitstaff is excellent, and the prices are reasonable considering the outstanding quality of the food. Thank you!

Great little place for authentic pizza and Italian. Only reason for 4 stars is the buffet was mainly non pizza items. But some might really like that they did have tons of other dishes. The atmosphere is quiet and classy, but prices were rather modest. Will definitely return.

My family and I visiting from our home in Stuttgart, Germany really enjoyed this place for a late lunch. They have excellent salads and pizza. This was a great choice for us after our day trip to Itchetucknee Springs. It reminded me of a few childhood Italian restaurants I visited growing up in Upstate NY.
