Sonny's Bbq - Alachua

The meat lacked flavor and was quite dry. I couldn’t even eat the chicken because it was so tough and dry. Additionally, they didn’t include the dipping sauce for my okra or the BBQ sauce I requested.

The brisket and fried okra were quite good, but everything else was fairly ordinary. It felt like a typical fast food establishment in the BBQ scene.

I was really disappointed with this order. The ribs were overly crispy and burnt, and the brisket was dry and lacked flavor. This experience wasn't up to par, especially since I usually love Sonny's.

They we out of Steak burgers, subbed with overly FATTY brisket. The root beer drinks were straight carbonated water!!! The tots were good.

Your mouth will water as soon as you enter the doors and smells all the good cooking! My darling is pulled pork, but my son loves the ribs. There is nothing on the menu that it is not worth trying! Yum yum!
