Pesqueria da limonta lives up to the stellar ratings he receives. the area is essentially a covered terrace, and it is very cozy. the service is excellent: courteous, knowledgeable and professional and for those like us who were not fluent in Spanish daniel was happy to help in English.) but eating is the right star here. the menu is adventurous and concentrates accordingly on seafood. we started with two appetizers: seared yellow fin tuna bruschetta and jumbo shrimp carpaccio. both were excellent. the generous pieces of thunfish were diceed and thought to be the rare perfection, with very fresh tomato and a delicious home sauce. the generous plate of garnelen was bathed in a tasteful olive oil lemon juice, which was attracted by delicious capern. so good. for our net we chose robalo dashi confit see bass with vegetables) and gallega octopus with yucca. also here the portions are generous, they will not leave this place hungry) and the preparation is on point. the sea bass was deliciously juicy, and the vegetables were so delicious that it could have been a meal in itself. the otopus was charred and tender, with a sweet taste complexity, which was mediated by a garlic butter with smoked sweet paprika, accompanied by garlauchaioli. everything was complemented by a bottle of super sauvignon blanc, which was suggested by our server, and with a common piece of light, mouthy delicious coconut cheesecake. the entire meal came to 78,000 colonies $170 cdn,) tax and drink money included. great value for an excellent experience. we recommend to pamper you here for dinner when you find yourself in san josé.

The place is quite and nice, familiar. The only way you can understand how it taste it’s to go there… You will no regret!!! The octopus was amazing! I have no words for the desert…
