Sabor De Acayucan - Alamo

I decided to have dinner at this restaurant after passing by once before. Although the ambiance was warm due to a temporary issue with the AC, the food presentation was impressive and appetizing. However, the taste was lacking in flavor; the enmoladas did not meet my expectations. The service could use some improvement as well - the server was polite but only checked on us to take our order and serve our drinks, disappearing afterwards. The prices were reasonable considering the portion sizes. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but not outstanding either. I may return in the future to give this place another chance.

Compared to other historical restaurants, this place is exceptionally clean and the staff is very polite. However, the choriqueso was very oily, requiring us to place folded napkins under the cast iron plate to prevent the excess oil from dripping. The enmoladas had more sauce than chicken or cheese, with the meat being just a small piece on the side. It was difficult to determine if the tortillas were thicker than the meat or vice versa. They only offered Mexican flavored water or sodas, no tea. I would give two stars for the service and cleanliness, but no stars for the kitchen quality.

The lobster I had was delicious, but my sister's enmolada was cold and overly sweet.

Good atmosphere and clean environment. we had 2 entrées and it took about 30 min. the place was not packed. eating was hot, which is a plus, but taste was kind of bland. the bark steak was good, everything else was indifferent. the personal was nice, but not really attentive.

Good place for some out-of-the-ordinary mexican dishes.The Memela is okay. And so far is the only place in the valley I have found that makes that dish.There is no way to identify the place other by the name written on the entrance door, once inside is nice and cozy.
