Rice Bowl - Alappuzha

Bright ambience, service is quite fast. The food is very inconsistent in quality the dragons chicken and cuchas are nice, please do not buy the noodles (Singapore n Schezwan) the Chettinad chicken curry we were served was ugh! And the parotas are stubborn. Overall, it's just okay

A lunch break at Alleppey after a long time while W route to Cochin. Rice bowl sits very conveniently besides the NH 47/66, easy to locate and ample parking space. The restaurant seemed to be new, hence the entire unit was well presented a clean spacious restaurant and the toilet was reasonably kept clean. Service was fair, although I noticed language seems to be a problem (I speak Malayalam but in most cases I met people who spoke Hindi/Bengali). Ordered an Egg Fried rice to go with chilli chicken. That wasn’t a bad combination. The noodles was served cold and did not sit well with few of us. ‘KariMeen’ pollichathu presented a classic look but I would prefer the more fried version (a bit dissapontment). Interestingly when I ordered my desert Falooda, they didn’t initially have it on the menu but suddenly they were able to introduce it. Long story short, the waitress brought fruit salad filled inside a tall glass with boost (a chocolate flavoured health drink). The waitresses tried to justify that it is still Fallooda a speciality from rice bowl. I did not read the earlier review and had to pay the price for it. Hope you read this on time.

Not very kids friendly. Nice set-up but really slow service.

A beautiful place to take a break for people by car. Excellent vegetable dishes served with care in a cozy atmosphere. Stop it. Thanks.

One of the worst hotel in alapuzha. The food quality and food service is really pathetic than the roadside food stalls. They serve the same gravy for butter chicken, egg curry and chicken mugalai. When enquired with one of the staff boy they said it's prepared in the same manner every other hotels serve. Pls don't waste your money and destroy your tastebuds by arriving here.
