Alameda - Alba de Tormes

This place serves good, traditional food at affordable prices. There's a cafe and a restaurant. We went to the restaurant at the back. Being July 16, Saint Carmen day, the place was packed. My friend had the menu for 10 euros (gazpacho, pescadilla, water etc). My husband and I chose vegetarian from the main menu and were delighted large plate of grilled vegetables for 9,50 euros, mixed salad and mushroom risotto. Beautifully served and truly delicious. All up cost us 40 euros for three people and we were full. Remember to say you only want bread for one person (or none at all) otherwise they charge you for bread per person and it's usually too much.

No habíamos hecho una reserva y acabamos comiendo más de un plato. La verdad es que disfrutamos de un exquisito postre y del excelente trato de las camareras.

Siempre que podemos, nuestra familia come en este restaurante. Siempre nos atienden de maravilla, el trato es bueno y generalmente no hay problemas con las reservas. La comida está bien presentada, deliciosa y a un buen precio. Además, cuentan con un amplio estacionamiento, bar y habitaciones para hospedarse.
