Capital City Diner - Albany

The Philly Cheesteak was HUGE and overflowing. THe bread was fresh and wonderful. I could only eat half and only a few sweet potato fries which were also fantastic!

Monte Cristo was flavorless and bland. Its Texas Toast with dry turkey, ham and Swiss cheese, definitely not a Monte Cristo. The Home Fried Potatoes were okay, could have used some salt or included a few packages especially if its being delivered to a hotel.

The experience at this restaurant was phenomenal, with generous serving sizes! The Swiss burger was cooked to perfection, the potato salad was deliciously homemade, and the cake was amazing. I could only manage to finish less than a third of my meal and I am completely full.

All items in my order were accurate. The nachos were delicious! The spaghetti was alright, a bit dry without any butter or oil. I wasn't a fan of the meatballs, they had a strange sweetness to them and lacked enough Italian herbs.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. I typically order the gyro and Buffalo chicken strips, which are always delicious. I have been a customer for years and I am thrilled that they now offer delivery services.
