Capital Q Smokehouse - Albany

Guys, my heart is overwhelmed with joy! I haven't enjoyed this much fresh produce since I moved here.

I checked out some reviews online and they seemed positive, so I decided to stop by for a late lunch. I mentioned it was my first visit, and the staff recommended trying the oxen sauce with the greens. The beef was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth. However, I wasn't a fan of the greens on top; they were a bit too tangy for my liking. Other than that, everything was great, and the service was excellent!

Pleasant surprise to find top tier bbq in Albany. Representing different regional styles pretty well. Had brisket, mrmphis style dpare ribs and north carolina pork.

The dry rubbed chicken was awesome! The pork and brisket were good but had far too much sauce added. The mashed potatoes had a good flavor but were very wet and runny. The cornbread came with a sauce or something on it which made it inedible. The baked beans were good. Overall satisfied with food and speed of delivery.

If you've ever had good decent bbq, don't go out of your way for this place. I found this place on the internet and it was on my way to Canada so I decided to stop by. Customer service was good, but the food itself wasn't anything special. The sides weren't that great and their cornbread tasted like a dessert. The chicken was decent.
