City Line Grill - Albany

Not too bad. I've ordered from City Line about three times, and the food can be a hit or miss. Unfortunately, the French Onion Soup was a big miss for me; I might as well call it Pizza Soup. It was loaded with oregano or some other overpowering spices, making it completely inedible and completely masking the classic French Onion flavor that people love! However, the restaurant itself is quite nice, and the staff is very friendly. I also enjoyed the Spicy Chicken Pasta.

The restaurant had a pleasant and quiet atmosphere. I made a reservation just in case, but it turned out to be unnecessary. The waitress was attentive, and our food arrived very quickly. The prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent.

The service was quick and friendly. The ambiance radiates modern elegance. I loved the poke bowl, which was served in a unique wonton bowl—such a fun touch! My son really enjoyed the salmon zoodles and finished the entire dish. The fig jam flatbread features spicy blackened chicken, so you might want to skip that if you're planning to share it with kids.

Very good food! It was quite a busy night so we did wait an hour plus (they did tell us there was a 45 minute wait time) But the food came to us quickly, hot and it sure was delicious! Both appetizers (southwest egg rolls and Avocado fries) were verygood!! Mixed drink and beer were Amazing. Mixed drink was perfect in level of alcohol. Both dinners were VERY good. Onesuggestion from the chicken sandwich is that we wished the piece of chicken was just a smidge bigger, but overall very well!Ravioli was delicious, I wish the sauce was a smidge bit thicker and had more vegetables but overall taste was very very goodand no real complaints!! We did wish the patio was open, but they were having some wasp issues so totally understood! Overallwould love to go back on hopefully a less busy night!

Nice trendy place, unique food, good portions. There is outside seating, some covered. Although music played inside, it wasn't so loud that you had to shoot to have a conversation.
