Emack Bolio's Ice Cream - Albany

Emack Bolio’s is a cute little ice cream shop with plenty of room indoors and out to sit and enjoy your treats. They make excellent candy confections, milkshakes, sundaes, etc year round!

Wanted to get ice cream after visiting the museum. Fast and exceptionally great service with polite, cheerful staff. Will return if I’m ever in the area again!

This is an absolute staple of the Albany experience, if you ask me. Get yourself a $7 Tuesday ticket to see a movie at the nearby movie theater (Spectrum or Landmark, depending on your generation) and pop by Emack Bolios for an ice cream and a coffee. If inflation makes you grumpy, get their special cookie sandwich, which is two huge cookies with a scoop of any bomb ice cream for $4. When I was a kid, that used to do live performances here almost weekly. Given that it still looks as though they have the venue, I imagine they are still doing this. Great outdoor seating space and now a comparably comfortable indoor space as well. Just go here.

Great service and Ice Cream. Seriously this is the best ice cream you're going to get in the capital region.
