Front Street Inn - Albany

This place definitely has the vibe of a dive bar, and that's exactly what I love! I had a fantastic time on New Year's Eve, enjoying jello shots and singing karaoke with friends. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, making for a great experience!

This is definitely the cleanest dive bar in Albany! The service is excellent, the bartenders are friendly, and both the drinks and food are top-notch. I highly recommend it!

A Transformation Used to go here years ago for a cheap Saturday breakfast; it was a borderline dive bar then. Stopped in last Saturday; what a change remodeled, painted, clean and neat as a pin. The bartender was an enjoyment; the cook was 'everybody 's grandmother ' and VERY GOOD. Had the special, which was an honest to goodness, old fashion chicken fried steak, the likes of which haven 't been in Albany restaurants for decades. Previously had to go to the Sweet Home VFW or the Busy Bee Café in Springfield if we wanted something other than a 'food service ' product; however well it was disguised/gilded still dog food w/gravy. If you haven 't been here for awhile, go back, this place is trying hard to be THE REAL DEAL.

Good bar food, excellent drinks and a clean, but eclectic atmosphere can be found at this neighborhood tavern. I've been twice for lunch and the place was empty. The bartenderess was the only other soul in the joint, and cooked us our meals. Service was fast and friendly. I imagine the place gets jumpier after work hours and on weekends.
