We love to try new restaurants so we were looking forward to this one! Napoli Don has a nice menu with a lot to choose from. We asked our waitress some questions about the menu but she really didn't know how to answer. No problem... being a new restaurant we understand it takes time. Ordered the bruschetta which was very good and the meatball pizza which also was good but would have liked it a bit thinner. When we got the bill we saw that they charged us $3. extra for the crown royal on the rocks. When we asked why we were told by the manager that they charge for the ice. My husband had 2 drinks $6. extra...WHAT...for ice? She was serious!! Decent restaurant and would go back but really, fix that issue. Doesn't make sense. If I order a Coke will I get charged for the ice also?
Split the calamari appetizer and each of us ordered a pizza. Ended up taking one home, too much food but it was excellent. Service went down as place filled up. Still in grand opening mode so staff is learning
The food was outstanding, and the host, servers, and bartenders were all amazing—friendly, helpful, and fun. We had a fantastic experience and often return.
I didn't expect to have a great dining experience considering the location—it's in a commercial area and attached to an old Howard Johnson’s hotel. I anticipated a typical chain-style Italian restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding, with amazing aromas and fresh ingredients. The restaurant had a lovely smell of wood smoke from the pizza they cook. The pasta dishes were incredible, and the fish was excellent. I pay attention to how a restaurant prepares shrimp cocktails because I think it reflects their overall food quality. The shrimp were clean, high quality, and fresh (or well-frozen and thoughtfully thawed), and the cocktail sauce was fantastic—likely made with fresh horseradish. We will definitely be returning!
