Vito's needs some work overall. The café is nicely decorated and comfortable, but the service and food are lacking. The noise level in the area is too loud. Our server, Taylor, made an effort but clearly needs more training and knowledge of the menu. There was a mix-up with my pizza order, but one of the owners apologized and offered to make it right. Despite this, it took a while for my pizza to be ready, even though the restaurant was not busy. The garlic bread and dinner salads were quite good, with the right amount of butter and crispness, and the house Italian dressing was tasty. However, the pizza was disappointing with too little sauce and sausage, as well as thickly sliced green bell peppers that were undercooked. The crust was good, but it couldn't make up for the other issues.
Tried this restaurant for the first time and was impressed. The meals were cooked to order and delicious, with generous portions at a very reasonable price. The only downside is that they do not serve wine or beer.
